Mom's Fall Decor

Well, my Mom is a creative and sometimes kooky lady. She grew tomatos near her front sidewalk this summer and had a pretty good crop. A few weeks ago she got a unique 'nanny' idea to buy various small veggies like winter squash and eggplant and to tie them to her tomato plants.

She purchased a variety of items, used yarn and hot glue and got everything ready to go. THen she invited the great-grandkids over to assist her. They ended up adding a cute scarecrow and tied the veggies onto the tomato cages. I got some great pictures of the resulting fall display. It is really cute and Mom is proud and the little kids had such fun helping her create this little patch of paradise.
