Flamingo Season

Jack and I both altered a pink flamingo yard ornament for a Breast Cancer research fundraiser. On October 6, Pinktober, will be held at the Civic Center. The flock of jazzed up flamingos will be available during a silent auction. There are supposedly 100 or more flamingos that are being decorated, glitzed, dolled up by local artists and just for fun art folks. Jack's flamingo is named Shining Hope and is beautiful gold with blue topaz eyes. My flamingo is called Journey and is the resut of weeks of laying paints, sanding, doing washes with other colors. Journey looked pretty scary till she finally 'arrived'.

Also, I will participate in a booth at Pinktober. Three other Keller Williams agents and I will have the WILD ABOUT REAL ESTATE booth and have a drawing and free give aways. I'm really excited about this event.
