Resale on the Road

Before we left for Frisco I did some research about resale outlets in the Frisco area. There was one that looked great in Plano called Consigning Women. Is that clever or what? We did make it to one...Frisco Resale. Upon stepping in I realized I wouldn't find anything. And honestly didn't give it much of a chance. It was nothing like Lucy's or Repeat Boutique here in Lubbock. The good news is...Jack had success right off the bat. He found a 'hear, speak, see no evil' trio that are the cutest I have ever seen. And a like new jacket in his size. Kaching. $4.00 for both items.

I'm trying to re-dedicate myself to shopping resale and using grocery coupons. One of my goals selling real estate has been to sock away some money. We did have a small nest egg but moving and remodeling gobbled up most of that.

So today, between meetings and appointments, I'm heading to My Friends Closet. I sold clothes there last Fall so should have some credit.

Art update - IKEA is a great source for frames. So I got some singles and one tryptich (?) type frame. Hope to get to Kinkos today and make copies and get some things framed and hung.

Molly and Jon were SO much fun. We saw a weird movie with Jon - Watchmen. But it was thought provoking with twists & turns up until the last minutes of the movie. Film noir meets sci fi meets angst-ridden comic book heros meets Pulp Fictionesque grit and violence. And Molly was crawling up a storm. She is ready for a career in pictures - she sits observing the action and the 'big' people until someone points a camera her direction. Then VAVAVOOOM she turns on that brilliant baby smile. Yep...she is a doll.
