Upcoming Concerts

Wooohoo! I'm so excited that Terry Allen will be back in Lubbock for a concert in April. And thanks to a wonderful friend of a friend, I have tickets on the 3rd row. Dh and I saw Terry perform at the Cactus in '04 (or was it '03 - time flies) and he was great. If for any reason dh can't accompany me that night, or chooses to stick with his Sci Fi Friday line-up, I'm going to see if sis from San Antonio will join me.

Another live music alert! Joe Ely will be playing at the Cactus on April 29. Now all we need is Jimmie Dale and I'll be a happy camper.

Speaking of Joe and Jimmie Dale, the Flatlander's concert at the Cactus last year surpassed our expectations. While I enjoy Butch, and think Joe is a world class performer, Jimmie Dale's vocals stole the show.
